storyline: A complex family narrative, secretly captured on film by Lana, a young girl who embodies both poetic beauty and harsh darkness, presents a painful query to those involved: Was it ethically justified to broadcast the private lives of her loved ones? Central to Lana’s film is her mother, an artist of unusual paintings, a woman who forgets, and who remains the only family member oblivious to this acclaimed documentary. Lana’s intense dialogues with her brother only heighten their misunderstandings, yet beneath it all lies a persistent longing for a mutual sense of comforting belonging.
